Ok, here we go. We were no doubt very excited to receive our FIRST and certainly NOT last, shipment of Eighthinch products, when the FedEx man showed up at our door, I had to ask ‘Why so late?’ and he gave his reason and we accepted it with a BIG smile.
First, the frame, on closer inspection, we are happy with what we see, not the best welding job, but, hey what can we expect for that price, really affordable at $260 for frame, fork, headset, post and seat clamp. Everything was decently built.
The CRANKS, now that’s a different story all together, powdercoating, well we think it is, was very well done and for a retail price of $120, we couldn’t ask for more…….

Lastly, the Julian rims (machined side walls only, at the moment), retail -$85 each…………. now we have seen some well made rims and these babies are right up there with the big names, although, Weinmann have been around for quite a while and they know what they are doing.

So………………………… in conclusion, we will definitely be bringing in more Eighthinch products for all you good folks.
