Do you guys carry lady bike frames? Also, do you guys do roadies too?

    Lemme know yeah!

    • trbikes
      July 9, 2009 at 5:08 pm

Hi Kat, we can get small sized frames, or are you talking about those step thru frames? Meaning the top tube is parallel to the down tube? If you are looking for a small roadie frame, have a look at the Surly PACER, they run small at 42.

    September 25, 2009 at 12:00 am

hey lynten, i rode to school last saturday and it was amazing, just that the ratio might be a little too light to go long distances. how much would another cog with less teeth cost?

was wondering how much a spare tube, a small wrench for the wheel nuts and maybe a tool to make minor adjustments would cost? how would you advise i go about building up an emergency toolkit to ride around with? what would it cost roughly? hit me up bro. (:

    • September 25, 2009 at 8:31 am

HI Eugene, WHERE DID YOU PARK YOUR BIKE?!?!??!?!?! Please make sure you have it in sight ALL the time, better still if its right beside you.
Anyway, another cog and lock ring will be $70, multi-tool $30, tube $10 and the small wrench is $35, but we are still waiting for stock to be available. That shld cover you. A good, small HP hand pump will come in handy as well, $55

      • eugene
        September 25, 2009 at 12:22 pm

Hey Lynten i have a 6 feet wire lock so I parked it in my school, going round the front rim, rear rim and frame and a pipe. There’s a bike rack too but I didn’t use it. I might wanna get a d lock just to be safer. Can’t I just get an adaptor and pump up at a petrol kiosk?

      • September 25, 2009 at 12:30 pm

you might want to consider a U-lock. some petrol station pumps can’t make it to 100 PSI.

      • eugene
        September 25, 2009 at 1:15 pm

hmm okay! i shall think about it. update me when the tools are in! (:

  41. eugene
    September 29, 2009 at 6:58 pm

hey lynten, do all fixed gears have to run on frames with track ends? i noticed that some flying pigeons have dropouts, so if you convert one to a fixed gear how does it work roughly? do you need to run the eccentric hub?

    • September 29, 2009 at 10:56 pm

Hi Eugene, the answer is NO. As long as you have a semi-horizontal rear, no issues. Basic wheel set will set you back about $500 (tires, tubes, etc NOT INCLUDED), crank and bb $165 onwards. It also depends on whether you have the 26″ or 28″ version of the FP. 26″ ones are easier to convert as you can still run a front brake.

      • eugene
        September 30, 2009 at 12:20 am

cool! thanks. i was just being curious though, don’t think i’m getting another bike anytime soon because the cutter is a joy to ride. (:

    Hello Bros,
Am very interested in the upcoming Niner Air9 Carbon, any news when can order the frame? Posibble may an extimation of the price if it’s in SG.

    • January 12, 2010 at 9:09 am

Hi Zep, price for FRAME only will be USD 1899, we have been requested by NINER to take a USD 500 deposit to be in line for the frame.

      • Zep
        January 12, 2010 at 12:24 pm

Yupz, thats what the niner website stated. And they will only releasing it on March 2010. So the price is fix. Any idea if it’s going to be early?.

Is C2C a Niner dealer too?, because I email them and they said they carry the niner brand but at niner.com stated TRbikes the only dealer.

      • January 12, 2010 at 12:27 pm

C2C gets it from us. If anything it may be delayed as first production run usually has some hiccups.

Thks for the reply, i’ll be on the look out, my target is by this year. Is there gonna be a price hike if I order it thru C2C? or it’s gonna be the same price, because C2C is nearer to my home.

Hello, not sure if my previous emails got through, didn’t receive any replies. Sorry if you’re reading this another another time.

The 29er rims i was talking about were the loaded ones, do you still have it in gold? Do you still have other rims in gold?

As for the Gorilla frame and purple hubs when would they arrive?

Will I also be able to order the deep purple Pake frame+fork from you guys? What will be the cost and how long will it take for it to arrive?

    • March 25, 2010 at 11:18 pm

Hi Gui, we can get deepV or H+son. We will have to check if we have a pair of gold Loaded rims. As mentioned, the GOrilla frames are ‘on order’ basis. We will be making another for purple hubs soon. What size for the frame? They are a LE done by PAKE, so we will have to check.

        March 25, 2010 at 11:38 pm

I’m around 1.74m, so it should be a size 54? I’m wondering when it would the pake/gorilla frames arrive? Thanks a lot man.

      • March 25, 2010 at 11:45 pm

Hi Gui, these frames will only be ordered when you can confirm, that will mean placing a 50% non refundable deposit.
Sorry we had too many bad experiences.

I plan to convert my HT into singlespeed, unfortunately there was no bikeshop here sells ss conversion kit. i go thru surly webpage and saw your name. Do you have this surly singulator and ss spec rearhub. Can u tell me how much is it inclusive of courier services, im from Kch,Swak.

    • June 26, 2010 at 12:01 am

Hi Qai, if you have a replaceable drop out, we would suggest you go with the White Ind ENO ECC hub, the reason is that, the drop out will tend to bend and the chain will ‘pop’ off. The WI hub is not the cheapest things but if you plan to go SS offroad, this will be the best option. The hub is SGD 260. Have a look at it at http://www.whiteind.com.
