Hey Lynten i have a 6 feet wire lock so I parked it in my school, going round the front rim, rear rim and frame and a pipe. There’s a bike rack too but I didn’t use it. I might wanna get a d lock just to be safer. Can’t I just get an adaptor and pump up at a petrol kiosk?
you might want to consider a U-lock. some petrol station pumps can’t make it to 100 PSI.

hey lynten, do all fixed gears have to run on frames with track ends? i noticed that some flying pigeons have dropouts, so if you convert one to a fixed gear how does it work roughly? do you need to run the eccentric hub?
Hi Eugene, the answer is NO. As long as you have a semi-horizontal rear, no issues. Basic wheel set will set you back about $500 (tires, tubes, etc NOT INCLUDED), crank and bb $165 onwards. It also depends on whether you have the 26″ or 28″ version of the FP. 26″ ones are easier to convert as you can still run a front brake.

Hi Zep, price for FRAME only will be USD 1899, we have been requested by NINER to take a USD 500 deposit to be in line for the frame.
Yupz, thats what the niner website stated. And they will only releasing it on March 2010. So the price is fix. Any idea if it’s going to be early?.
Is C2C a Niner dealer too?, because I email them and they said they carry the niner brand but at niner.com stated TRbikes the only dealer.
C2C gets it from us. If anything it may be delayed as first production run usually has some hiccups.

Hi Gui, we can get deepV or H+son. We will have to check if we have a pair of gold Loaded rims. As mentioned, the GOrilla frames are ‘on order’ basis. We will be making another for purple hubs soon. What size for the frame? They are a LE done by PAKE, so we will have to check.

Hi Qai, if you have a replaceable drop out, we would suggest you go with the White Ind ENO ECC hub, the reason is that, the drop out will tend to bend and the chain will ‘pop’ off. The WI hub is not the cheapest things but if you plan to go SS offroad, this will be the best option. The hub is SGD 260. Have a look at it at http://www.whiteind.com.
